started to loosely assemble the Britain to see what fits where, and its looking more like a bike already. next task is fitting the bodywork and making brackets where needed. i've got an ad in the wanted section for a battery box complete with electrics as it would make my job a little easier. i want to finish assembling the complete bike (minus engine) before the strip down as i'm a bit OCD with labelling everything and knowing where everything goes.

going back to bearings, i've always tapped my bearings in with a hammer. it's very satisfying when the tone changes from a ringing noise to a more solid bong. mind you, my apprenticeship was on farm machinery...

i'm working on the rear footpegs for a cb750f2 and both pegs are badly mangled. before i make my own, has anyone re-made these? they are £20+ each with dave silver.
