I like the fact that you have hard chromed the fork stanchions - My old Z650B1 was fitted with them by a PO and they were superb - never corroded despite using bike as daily transport in UK weather. Seem to remember they were done By AM Philpotts - who still are around I believe.
As you will read in these posts I am restoring a 1969 built UK CB750

Looking for a really nice CB350 K0 1968-69 twin to restore after my 750K0 is finished (hopefully by the summer) must be completely standard and low mileage and don't mind importing one if it's nice.

Here is a link to a pic of my K0 'home made Alternator sub-harness, Can anyone tell me if the sleeving on the neutral switch looks correct for Sandcast/early K0. It's different to the Yamiya one but I reckon the Yamiya one is not faithful to the original. ChrisR kindly sent me a picture of a used early one. This has taken me almost a month of research to find the correct materials. I could not use the multi way connector supplied By Vintage Honda Connections because it was different to the original, so I ultrasonically cleaned an old one which has not 'scrubbed up' too badly. His crimps supplied with the multi way were correct though and fitted perfectly into a genuine shell. the outer sheathing is rubber and the braided sleeving (two sizes) is silicone impregnated woven glass. The sleeving ends are covered with clear 3-1 ratio heatshrink tubing (tape on the original I think) and the neutral switch eyelet is covered in a Raychem heat shrinkable, adhesive lined coupling sleeve.  http://www.yamiya750e.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=21_58&products_id=73Watch this space for a correct 'home made' replica braided battery earth lead. The Yamiya one is definitely incorrect and a very poor copy, in my view. I entered into that thread and when I have time (as I promised) I will get my friend who has a high-tech plastic moulding company here in East Yorks to quote for killswitch black knob and 'Jewels'. The real killer deal would be for him to quote on K0 black instrument covers and lenses but I suspect a high tooling cost for these. May go to see him early next week and keep you posted. Problem is someone has to stump up with the tooling costs and people will only commit to buy once they have seen the finished article. Cheers Ash

My 400/4 had the standard coils on it and it never missed a beat in 20k miles. It was still on it when I sold the bike. Just checked and that bike is taxed until Jan 2012!!! XDN128R
Bryan - any chance you can scan me the pages of your early 750 K0 parts book - carbs, electrics and oil pump, please?
