The 550 is going well but Rick has a sore wrist from the heavy clutch on the 550.(the big girl)
Are 550 clutches normally heavy? My 500 isnt as heavy as his but its a slightly different setup. Its had a new clutch and cable fitted and the cable route seems fine 78

If the bolt is spinning around in the bottom of the stanchion or is mashed up,just drill the head off then pull apart.when u get it separated just take the remainder or the bolt out with pliers.

I found the 550 stem on the btm yoke was shorter than the 400.i had to grind a bit off the bottom of the headstock to gain enough thread at the top.
