I'm 6' and I've got a 400four.  I would suggest riding one to see if you like it.

With the K75, it smoked like a 2 stroke, especially on start up.  Made worse by the oil sneaking past the rings. It was always a lot worse after it was on the side stand so i had to haul the bugger onto its centre stand, which didn't do my back any good.

That's tidy.   I've always liked the Hinckley Triumphs and many even get one some day, depending on the job situation.  The thing that puts me off is, it may be too heavy for me.  Not to ride but to manoeuvre.   I had a K75 a few years ago and that aggravated my back injury a lot more that I owned up to.

I used to repair gas cookers and gas tumble dryers.  Not many of them exploded afterwards. 💥

Is there any gas guys out there who can assist me?  It's a Baxi Bermuda back boiler, GC  44 075 08.  I replaced the pilot light/ ASD assembly because it wasn't igniting.   That's all sorted but the asbestossy O ring between the part I fitted and the gas solenoid valve had disintegrated.  I replaced it with something else but it's overheating.  I've tried everywhere to get a parts list but no luck so far.
Where can I get one of those asbestos type O rings?  It's about 6mm i/d, 12 o/d, 4mm ish thick.  If I had the correct material I could punch one out.
I'm hoping there's people here with materials knowledge.

Like alot of venues, Crich Tramway are really struggling from lost income. Maybe that is a factor in trying to still squeeze the event in. Might get out of bed and bimble down if it's sunny 😎
How far down the road is it for you?

Wow! Very negative response. You know it's just as likely to rain in June, don't you? This is soggy UK. 🌈🌦🌩😎
The rain is warmer in June

With all this talk of clean workshops, I decided to have a go at mine.  This is the woodwork shop at the end of the garden, not where I keep the bike.  I spent a very therapeutic hour or so putting tools away, sorting through off cuts of wood, I  repaired the Henry (replaced the switch), and vacuumed up several bins of sawdust from under the saw table and the router table.  I haven't finished but it looks like a lot more pleasant working environment

It looked like a good day for a ride on the 400 but the bike hasn't run for months.  It didn't start although it was trying to.  I drained the fuel from the tank and poured it in my wife's car and filled it with fresh juice.  After a few prods of the starter titty it awoke from its slumbers, and before long, it was ticking over on all four, filling the shed with smoke.  I didn't get to go out on it but the next sunny day the bike will be ready for it.
