;) well its nice to know that there is at least three k0's  still knocking around ,strange thing is i have only seen pics of two others and so far they are all red and i have yet to see a blue one?
on the subject of the show i did not go myself probably never will again ive done it to death i was talking to some mates today who went on saturday they said never again they waited a hour and half to get in and came away with nothing

It's 120 miles away from me Steff. I got there about 9:15am  and  had to wait in the queue for 20 mins but overall not too  bad. I always tell myself ...'not again' but continue to go ...it's a good place to meet up with kindred spirits you wouldn't normally  get to  see. you  could argue that there  isn't the NOS stuff there any more but it's pretty much dried up everywhere now for our bikes.
Went Sunday. Got there soon after 10 and 5 mins queuing, then in. Would imagine Saturday all early birds after best pickings. Layout always a bit samey but usually interesting.

Just catching up on this thread Julie. Holy sh*te, you've been busy !!!
Yes James, I'm a woman on a mission  ;D ;D Also, I have been given a certain amount of time in the workshop, if I go over that time I incur penalty charges  ::) ::) ::)
A proper nurse would have done the bloods and sent them to the lab. Poor bedside manner! :P

The CB400 really could do with a better caliper.. I'm running David Silver repros, but my daily ride is a Ducati 959.. so its a re education from bike to bike lol.

Does anyone know if there is a drilled disc out there for the CB400?
959 Ducati? Don't think you will ever be happy if that's the case. Just re-calibration of brain when on the old girl. Can still be frightening though!

Steve,

I am ocasionally getting an error message saying the "body of the message of the post is empty" when I have started a post with a quote from a previous comment. Re trying does not help. Any ideas ??

Tim

Very difficult to track a bug that I can't replicate (eg this worked OK)

If you say that it is intermittent, then I suspect it might be more to do with your setup and/or internet link than the forum software, which has been stable for many years (some would call it "old fashioned" ...)

Steve
Thanks Steve as long as i'm not being dim! If this post works, this obviously isn't one of those intermitant times! Thanks Tim

Rushed updates to keep the 750 current against newer competition. Not enough testing time initially as the 'delta' part later fixed the problem.
What's a "delta" part Roy?

Probably best I don't disclose how many on a public forum Nige. Let's just say a few. Have a '68 CL450 as well. Like the 450 twins a lot..
Was it yourself that had a 450 flat tracker too? Loved that...

Just been watching dear old Henry Cole's Shed and Buried telly programme. They were featuring a bike collection at Craven Garage near York. Loads of bikes / looks good - is it? Anyone been?

  I enjoy Henry

  but never been to Craven

is that the guy that did panniers and fairings??  was it Ken Craven? he did lots of bike rides
From what the programme said he still drag races an old velo or something in his 70's. Just a collectorholic otherwise it would seem.
