Thanks for all the info and tips have looked at a few of the paints but most seam to need to bake in the oven, or at least exposed to high temps. As her indoors seams upset about the idea of me bringing it into the kitchen to put in the oven any other way to cure it,  again thanks in advance.

             Thanks for your reply, have removed engine from bike **** and I am polishing the barrels would like to spray crankcase.

Tip for all you buffers, found this stuff Mirlon Resin Mesh Pads.
 Mirlon pads are great for this use very fine and ultra fine, finish off by buffing, or Solvol Autosol.

Hi. Guys, been busy fetteling, and in need of some advice, powder coating on engine block past its best,  was thinking of rubbing down and painting, was wondering what would be best paint to use and any tips are welcome. This on my cb750k2?/k7 Franken Bike. Thanks in advance Bob. :-\

Thanks a million for the help, when I bought this bike I got a whole other one as spares, engine seized"", but looking at it now and with the information you guys have given I think the engine on the other bike looks more like the original but cant read the number any Way of brining it up???   This is getting more like a monster bike every day. if I ever get it all back to original I will owe you guys a lot.

Thanks Guys glad you are all there, really wanted an original, so to put it back where would I get a k2 engine? whats the average price?  and would it be a big job!!!! and any one want to buy a good" k7 engine" ???

About the k2 being improved in line in the uk dose that mean my k2 wireing although is not as per. honda maunal for k2 could be genuine, getting worried I bought a pig in a poke as a few parts seam to be not as specified in k2 descriptions.  any and all help really appriciated. Many THANKS.

A milion thanks for link to Honda workshop manual download FANTASTIC , got wiring digram and will be back for more as a get going, only problem is I have discovered that my k2 has a wiring set up of k3-k7. so think I have k2 frame, wheels tank , the rest seams to be a bit of a mongeral, so my project for retirement might take me longer than I thought and cost more Bl--dy H---. Will be back a lot for a lot of help from you guys.

have bought cb750 K2 which has 3 pin flasher unit all  for that year have 2 SteveD has helpfully said 3rd is earth and will work ok without it, but would like to know why it has 3 to start with seems to have a few non standard parts, beginning to wonder what year it is or is it a bits and pieces bike any help appreciated.

New Member Introductions / front forks cb750/1972

this is more of a challenge than building the bike, just bought cb750k2/1972, but front forks  have no gators, is this right still looking at all the bits, got a lot of spare parts with it, but not sure where to start, any help would be great, thanks in advance.
