Dont need to change horn, for the ammount of use they get 6v is fine on 12v

Brake fluid on the seals WEAR GLOVES use the greasin the area above the circlip to try and stop corrosion like there was when you took it apart.

When rebuilt these masters frequently need bleeding to banjo fitting.

With gloves on put a finger over the outlet hole and pull in lever, release and re apply finger, release lever. Repeat until you get pressure on finger then whilst holding lever in quickly fit pipe with banjo bolt and washers----oh should have said have them handy before starting!!

I have managed to aquire a few D7EV for my 500, originaly used on advice a a gentleman named Stan Dibbden who was the NGK and Mobyke rep in the 70's ( and a VERY respected ex racer), started cleaner ran faster and more mpg. No longer made but found some

Import K2 has larger clocks, American K1 has small clocks butfull chrome backd with angled entries and a different angle mounting plate

Welcome, if its a UK bike its a K1 we never had K2 but if you post the frame number i can give you an aproximate build date

Ah well you said bolt and that to me is the one at the top. Adjuster nut has O ring and plain washer

Mr Davo i am supprised you got 1.5 gears on the 5 speed triumph aas i remember it telling you to fit the hi gear sleeve gear first(one the sprocket goes on) then fit the cam plate and that is physicaly impossible
