Afternoon chaps. Having a bit of a clear out of smaller project bikes (500/550). I have 4 bikes that I intend to move-on. No mad rush to sell - if they don’t go for what I need back from them I’ll eventually get round to restoring or recommissioning them..

I’ll try and get some better photos in the next week or so as time/weather allows..

1) CB500/4 K0 JDM - is a Japanese Market (JDM) bike that is extremely rare. From memory around 19k miles. Candy Gold. 4-2 exhaust.

2) CB500/4 K0 - this is a later K0, in brown, 9k miles. 4-2 exhaust.

3) CB500/4 K0 - very very early K0 (2xxx vin range) with only 2000 miles. Brown.

All three will need cosmetic restoration and a set of repro HM323 4-4 exhausts as a minimum.

4) Alternatively, I’ve also got a ‘76 CB550 due in late next week, with 6000 miles, totally original. Will need some repairs to the pipes. Looking for £4K.

All bikes have the original US title and NOVA paperwork and were personally imported by me. The engines are totally sound on all 4 bikes. All are runners , or were when they came in from the US - If any are of interest I will ensure they are sold in nice running condition (I have a spare set of cleaned reference carbs I will fit).

Price wise they are between £3-4k.

I bought this bike earlier in the year from DK - original purchase invoice for £2850 available.

I’ve basically cleaned and rebuilt the carbs, rebuilt the front brakes, changed the oil, fitted a new battery and cleaned the tank.

She runs like a Swiss watch - I honestly think this is the quietest sohc4 engine I’ve ever heard in terms of the engine.

I’d like £3250 back on her.

Comes with Original US title and NOVA number so you can UK register her (I can assist with filling out the paperwork).

Offered for sale is a very rare NOS Henry Abe 900cc Big Bore Kit.

This kit includes Pistons, Liners, Rings, Gaskets. Everything required for a 900cc upgrade.

The liners are tapered, so don't required machining of the engine cases (as far as I’m aware, but Graham will I’m sure chime in here )

£695 + postage at cost to buyer.

Have been working on this on and off for a few weeks. Just rebuilding the carbs / master cylinder before firing her up next week. Nice, original paint example has been fun to work on...

1999 BMW R1150GS in very good condition. The bike has a full service history will all receipts has 11 months MOT with no advisories. 2 new tyres were fitted last summer, and have done around 800 miles on these. My brother is the third owner of the bike (selling on his behalf).

The bike has completed 50,000 documented miles. It's the ABS model, but the system was disconnected by the previous owner due to the well documented issues with these systems. If you wish to reconnect then it should be a straightforward process.

The heated grips both work well, and get very hot when needed.

If you're looking at this advert, you'll know what these bikes are capable of. This one comes with a full service history, the original BMW hard luggage which is operated by the ignition key. It also comes with a Givi topbox which is operated from a separate key.

I have both original keys plus the red master key.

The bike is in overall very good condition throughout, and has some nice extras that will come with it :

Adjustable MRA touring screen ( original screen included)
Baglux tank cover
Headlight protector
handguard deflectors
Optimate battery lead
Fork protectors
Sump Guard
Givi Rack (for topbox)

Member 4 Sales / 1975 GL1000 K0 - early 9xxx VIN

Evening gents, have decided to sell the K0 Goldwing.

Photos below - starts and runs well but probably needs a decent carb clean as it’s a bit wooly. The engine itself is very quiet and no undue mechanical noises / issues. All gears engage nicely and smoothly.

This is a very early GL1000 K0 (Vin is 9xxx). 25k miles.

Seat is NOS / dealer take off and came with the bike (I ditched the king and queen saddle).

I’ve started removing the ‘70’s pinstripes and these will easily come off. Original CB Green paint is stunning.

Exhaust is very solid indeed.

Overall a really solid early goldwing.

I would suggest it’s fully serviced and new tyres are fitted by the new owner.

Has original title and NOVA and I can assist in the registration process.

Looking for £4495 ono as it stands for a forum member.

Other Bikes / Value of Kawasaki Triples

Guys, need some advice. I’ve been offered some Kawasaki triples in p/x against one of my 750’s. All are Euro market bikes.

I’ve got no idea on market value on these bikes, so would appreciate some input - if I do take them in px then I would need to move them along.

Still have the GS1000 - took her for a blast this evening and such a sweet bike. Couple of pics down on Shoreham beach..she’s going up on eBay at the weekend.

CB750 / 1969 CB750 Sandcast #5794 - Original Survivor

Pretty much finished with the Sandcast recommission and thought I’d share some pics before she’s offered for sale.

This is an original survivor and a lovely machine. There are a few things not strictly correct for a sandcast (I think the rear rim has been replaced at some point and the front fender has the speedo guide hole) but overall a lovely patina to the bike.

Also I haven’t managed to refit the center stand spring in these photos and she’s missing one of the seat hinge pins which has somehow got lot in transit from the workshop to the van.

The pipes are the original unstamped HM300’s and considering the age it’s incredible how well they’ve survived.

Any, a picture speaks a thousand words so here goes...

Edit: just noticed a couple of horrible cable ties securing the clutch cable - and I’ve routed it incorrectly. Always good to look at your own photos to sanity check..!

Thought I’d start this thread to document my latest K0 restoration...

The start...photo was taken back in 2016. Note the incorrect front end...correct K0 forks and single cut fender came with the bike and were temporarily re-fitted in late 2016.
