My 550 F2 was thirsty at times getting as low as 27mpg!! Two up loaded with camping gear and thrashing it,can’t remember exactly but around 45 mpg could be achieved in contrast my mate had a 550 K3 with the lean burn carbs fitted and he’d record 65 +mpg,both bikes were new 1977 models

I remember Dick Emery was a bike rider/enthusiast owning few Hondas and a BMW.
But who remembers the lovely Twiggy riding a Honda Express pulling up and saying “You meet the nicest people on a Honda”   in a TV ad

Indeed it was another great show,good to meet Julie and Graham.So many great looking bikes difficult to choose a favourite to vote for,I plumped for a lovely orange/black Yamaha 350 ( nearly voted for a lovely little CB250 )
