Hi guys, nowadays due to health, terrible roads here, traffic from hell and having the attention span of a goldfish any bikes are just an ornament that I pass the time of day buggering about with. It's in the blood.
I have lots of info for the 500, manuals, parts books, service letters etc. What year is the one you have comming? Best of luck with it they are far lighter and more manouverable than Harley Fergusons

It's in the blood. Thanks and I will bear that in mind but I think it’s a bit of a winter project first I expect it brakes and handles better than the bloody HD thing too (until memories of the 70’s start flooding back at least )Welcome Steve, If you need someone to take the 500 for a run........Seriously you will find it easier to handle that the Harley plow puller. Remember your retired and take it out when its quiet. Plenty of lovely b roads in your region.
