Does that not sound like a lot of money per guard?

The word patina may hold a whole new attraction. :) As I am totally undecided which way to go with, the 350f as it is better than i expected.

£330 + VAT sounds over the top per guard to me. I'll ask the fella I have used in the past what he would charge. When I was there last week I saw some of their work and it was 'top notch', I'll be seeing him early next week and I'll ask what he would charge. I know he likes a bit of the 'folding stuff' so that might reduce the cost.

This may seem stupid but polish the chrome with tin foil, i didnt believe it either but it works wonders on spotty chrome.

Tin foil and coca cola seems to be a marvelous combination for smartening up old chrome.....so I have heard  :-\

I find fine grade wire wool very effective if its not pitted and doesn't appear to damage the finish.
