'82 CX500 Eurosport
« on: March 11, 2019, 08:24:14 PM »
Hi,

apologizes for going dark for a while...
Workshop relocation and others, like the '82 CX500E of an acquaintance which has not been on the road since 1996
Tank, sending unit, carbs, forks, brake system, bearings, switch pods, fuse panel, etc, etc... down to the notorious 7V regulator powering temp and fuel gauge...
However, engine purrs again

Once this project is outta here, the 500/4s will receive some attention...

Cheers!

Lovely bike but what a garage! To quote Monty Python - You lucky lucky....
One day I'll have the time to restore it, not just talk and dream....

Love those Eurosport’s, amazing power from a small capacity V twin of that vintage.

Ducati 900SS (Soul & Speed)
Ducati M900 Monster (Handling & character)
Thruxton 1200 (suits me)

What a beautiful bike. Due to Uni and working abroad I missed a lot of things that happened in the UK. This was one, it is superb.
