Lenght of Fork Stantions
« on: November 18, 2020, 05:25:27 PM »
Hi all,
Need some help on fork stantions lenght .
Many available on ebay but confused on size . Some say they 580 mm and others 605mm . I have not got mine out yet .
Would someone confirm proper size for models 72/76.

Thanks
John

I think from memory (from when I was looking 6 or 7 years ago for my K2) I think the 605 are for the F models - need confirmation from others members though as a few years ago
Current Bikes:-

Honda CB500K2 (12/1972)
Honda CR750 Replica (1972)

I would agree, I have just bought some F2 forks to make it easier to fit a Lockheed caliper on my Rickman and the F2 stantions are 25mm longer. I thought a bonus might be to fit the clip ons above the top yolk but they foul the fairing and bracket.
76 Rickman CR750 (resto in progress)
73 Kawasaki H1D (sunny day madness)
02 Triumph Sprint ST955 (commuter and long distance)
