How is the front three way connector fitted to the frame.
« on: August 24, 2021, 05:51:42 PM »
Not sure how I attach the 3-way connector that has the front brake lamp switch attached is fixed to the frame - parts book isn't much help if anyone has a photo that would be handy?

My front brakes came in a box aside from the disc & handlebar part.

So it's via a rubber mount on the headlamp/ indicator bracket. Thanks both of you. Ted

Just looked again it fits to that empty thread I have on the bottom yoke !!

No rubber bit just bolts tight to bottom yoke

Looking at the picture then the headlamp / indicator frame bolts on top of the small bracket attached to the 3-way connector - the steel insert in the rubber mount will hold it firm to the frame.

No. The clip you are talking about mounts on the under side of the steering stem between the stem and the right fork leg. If you look on the underside of the steering stem you will see the mounting hole.

My 500-4 has the same clip, no idea why it has a 375 middle number though unless it got superceded, I’m going to be make no some cable clips when I get my Gateros plating kit, if they turn out ok and you still need one Ted I’ll make you one.

Thanks for the offeb rOddjob - if in my box of stuff that came with the bike I do not have one I'll be in touch.

As my rebuild progresses the parts I have left over are starting to make it easier to find stuff but only just.
