Raask are all like this...the footpegs, some of the brackets, springs etc are all standardised. It's the specific mounts for things like the attachments to the brake shaft & gear change that are differant. As such, it looks a bit 'Heath-Robinson' when put together. A friend had some on his FJ1200 & it took a bit of fabrication with some spare material to get them running how they should.
The rose joints are meant to help with any misalignment, but from the photos it looks like they are doing their best to compensate to a larger degree, such that they are binding. A few minutes with a file may well remove sufficient material so's to be able to align the bits more accurately.
