Silicon Brake Fluid & Cap Markings
« on: April 25, 2022, 11:10:30 PM »
One for Piki I guess… I’ve been PM’ing him but can’t add photos as requested.

In the major recon of my 750 K2 I’m changing over to Silicon DOT 5, and would like to replace the Resevoir Cap markings with a look-alike sticker (same sizing / metallic border / Font / spacings etc) reflecting this.

The words would read, “USE BRAKE FLUID SILICON DOT 5”

Any thoughts / help much appreciated; Piki I’m in Australia so if this is a problem for you please don’t waste you efforts. (though of course I’ll happily pay all costs)

(I’m away from home right now, and can’t supply correct diameter of border)

Cheers,
Simon

You can’t attach anything to a PM. A feature of this old forum software I’m afraid.

+1 for the Dot5 sticker in fact I’d take 2. If and when they become available.

For the sake of English shouldn't it read Use Silicon Dot 5 brake fluid? or add only between Use and Silicon

See the reason but it's not original so might as well put what you want on there. Typical Japanese translation issues from the 70s.
