Spotted today CB500
« on: January 08, 2023, 05:12:44 PM »
Hi all. Spotted this earlier when out on the pushbike. Dealer was closed, but looked good from a distance through the window. Anyone on here owned/restored this? Not one of yours James H??!!

Cheers

James would never list that as it is way incorrect
K2 clocks with wrong face colour,
550 tank stripes,
Would never have had the side panel transfers below the badges

And that is justfirst look

Wonder why the speedometer mileage does not match the description - not original clocks?

US import as well, no headlight flasher. Clocks have been apart as there is a facia screw missing on the tacho. Kickstarter missing it's dust seal. Missing the correct chrome tank trim. A nice bike never the less.

If it’s really a 69 plate - that’d certainly be unique.

You see that a lot on these dealer sites.

The software date of registration picklist probably only goes back to to 1990.

Looks a tidy bike. I'm gradually learning about 500 fours - as I would like to acquire one in the spring.
