I've been to the classic John, saw mcguiness and agostini do the 1969 hailwood reenactment, great event , great to see all the old race  machines in action , less crowded than the TT as well, talking of race machines I saw this at Matlock Bath today, followed him down the A6, what a nutter 😄

  that would be something,

 I remember sometime around late 1960's a german sidecar racer ,may have been Klaus Enders,or sideways Siggy,,their van broke down
on the way to the ferry ,so they unloaded the outfit,and rode to the docks,through the tunnels etc !!

 those 500 BMW would have sounded awesome !!!

That photo with the CR was taken at  the large layby on the A6 just north of Ambergate if I am not mistaken?
