Looks good from here. Can you give us some close-ups and details of construction.

I have a 500/4 with home-made muffler and would like to compare.

Hello Steve,
I will show some picture's and hope you can see what you want:
 

First made a template for the conical pipe and handbend it into shape.
Made a bracket for the rear mounting and expanded a pipe for mount the 'muffler' over the exhaustpipe.

After that I made a Alloy endcap on the lathe, and bolted it to the muffler:
