Price of spares

I've just been looking for a float needle set and logged onto David Silver Spares and the price came up as $6.20. Realising I  was on the American web site I chaged to the UK web site. The same part (16124-230-004) then came up priced at £23.93 inc VAT. Hmm, something not right here! Anyone else noticed any major price differences or is this just a one off / cock-up
