Sorry cant do DS, my back wouldn't take the 4 hours there and if i did get there i'd never get home again!!

update,

  just rang DSS ,and the museum is not open sundays,and only open till 3pm on saturdays,

  as for timing the visit,as july /august is major holiday season,I would think camping and B&B would be at top rates,and difficult to find,

 comments please ?

Thanks for finding out opening times John. Maybe we should wait until early September when the hoards of tourists have gone back home.
