F2 barrels

Hi quick question can you use any barrels on a f2 or do they have there own barrels

I think K5 onwards will fit - they seem to have the 8 x 12mm knock pins/seals like the the later F1/2 but I'm sure I'll be corrected by Trig and other more knowledgeable members if thats not correct

Never really studied the F2, I know that the part number is different but, I would not know why.

Could it be a different part number because of colour - the F2 had a black barrel - or is that too simplistic1

That is too simple Phil, if it was just colour the difference would be in the last 3 numbers and not the middle 3 ;)
