Sorry Julie - just thought it would get a calm, objective debate going on an affordable (for a KO) example of the holy grail of SOHC! Passionate lot on here me thinks. Could have been a deliberate 'plant' by a 'DOHC forum' member to wind us all up!!!!! :)

The auction has ended, but it didn't sell, for some unfathomable reason. 8)
@ Sgt.Pinback, thanks but I got a good repro K1 seat now. If anyone wants to buy the one I had with the ducktail, let me know. The base isn't perfect (small patch welded repairs) and 'Honda' is painted on, but it looks fine otherwise.
