Starter button sticking

G'Day Joe, Had exactly the same problem with my 1972 , the one with the noisy clutch. I sprayed some  WD40 into switch and button area and it fixed my problem. Also made switch smooth to operate. I sprayed the other side switch as well, noted differance straight away
