CB750 Forks

JamesH:
FYI 1970 CB450 (K3 I believe) fork lowers are the same as those use on the early diecast CB750 K0. So you may have a set of those??

willythepooh:
Just this minute taken mine out of a cb750 K4 and they are 58cm.
Put new ones in which are longer, but I don't know by how much and what difference it will make.
I do know that without compression, the fork spring is not touching the top nut.
I'd say they were 2cm longer.

Us British dont use cm (unless you're a school kid or a dressmaker)   please stick to British Standard and use millimetres.  :D

WHAT????? Those of us remembering these bikes new want nothing to do with that foreign metric crap, feet and inches!!!!!!!

mike the bike:
I hope you don't go fettling your bike with imperial spanners hairy.
For the record, I do my woodwork in feet and inches and bike spannering in mm.  I won't have cm in the house.
