Hi mate, and a big welcome to the World of the wonderful CB750
The noises you describe from your engine are all quite normal for
a CB750 remember the engine design is almost 40 years old so
leave well alone inc the clutch its bullit proof if a little noisy!
Camchain adjustment is an easy fix as another memer on here has
already said in an earlier reply If the springs are low on the rear
they sound as if they are worn out (if they are the originals they
prob will be) bin them for aftermarket ones Hagons are good if a
little expensive or try ebay but be careful I use the USA one as it
has tons of CB750 bits. Is your K7 the one with the small back wheel
if its a USA Spec one?
Front brake performance can be improved at low cost without changing
the front end give the caliper a good going over inc the swinging pivot
as this is the cause of many a CB750s brake problem while your at it
bin the old rubber flexi brake pipe that will also be past its sell by date
try a braided hose ,bin the old brake fluid fit some decent brake pads
\"not cheap nasty ones made from recycled cornflake packets\"
put it all back together carefully & it should work a whole lot better
but if your used to riding new type Rice Rocketships its never going to
seem very good.
Horn sounds like a bad contact at the button WD40 it first mine is also
on the blink at the button so I reserve judgement till I check it out
I,m in not so sunny Nottingham regards Asimo
