The Brighton 750 Prototype - Coming up for auction...

<< < (22/26) > >>

MrDavo:
With my interest in classic cars, and as an accountant, I know all about supply and demand. The more people want it, and the more restricted the supply, the higher the price, which is why we get Ferrari 250GTOs at £20 million plus a pop, only titled owners of large earthmoving equipment companies and Pink Floyd drummers need apply, the rest of us just can't have one.

No bike (or handbag!) is 'worth' £140k+, but if lots of people want it and the supply available = one unit, ever, then it goes to the person with the deepest pockets.

Due to the horrendous weather I didn't go to the auction, and watched it live with you guys, but whoever bought it, I hope to get to see it 'in the flesh' sometime.

UK Pete:
Honda should of bought Vic world's one if they were after one ...it was much better

Missed off the confusion at the end though .. shame .. bet words were said after that finished !

Laverda Dave:
Interesting to see bidding stalled a bit at £65k, someone probably thought they had a bargain for a while!
The auction didn't have the intensity of a Fast & Loud Gas Monkey auction either  8)
