Very true Julie...i cant be 100% sure that anything is original....the original bars are definitely US style, high rise and a bit wider, they have cables routed through the centre as they should.... The UK spec bars a lower rise and narrower but no where near 300mm’s worth.. I’m talking CB750K4.... I will post a photograph of the two tomorrow  :)

My new bars are definitely UK ones, here is a pic of the bars that were on the bike when I got it.
Bike came in from Ohio, so I assume they are the standard US ones.

Looking at this pic now, those cables look long on those bars as well.

Had a good look at the two pairs of handlebars today, there is a difference in the total unwrapped length of the bars of 7”, 3.5” each side (89mm), so why the US/UK cable would have to be 300mm difference in length is a mystery to me...?

I wonder if your bike had really high ape hangers fitted at one time?

Yep...I’m pretty sure they are the original honda item..... i may pit them back on a pt some point but i will try the uk spec ones first. I’ll take a photo when all the cables are fitted.
