The pivot was seized hard.
Boiling penetrant w heat gun. It finally freed.
I decided to make a quick change for ease of servicing ...
While the tools are out...why not do the rear pivot too?

Heres the first one finished, for Rachels Christmas to go in our bathroom.
Thought Id give the 2k primer a go. It goes on and sands just like primer.
Rach really likes the new Subaru color, Jasmine green, so that came from Harpy's motors.
My 2nd fan, going in the garage, will be House of Kolor, Candy Blue.
And all finished w 2k clear.

Nice job with the fan, you can't beat home made Christmas presents.
I have an old electo/mechanical signaling relay I recovered from a skip, it's in as new condition, has clear glass on every side to show the internal workings, is a cube 12 inch square and weighs a ton! I'd like to fit a bulb inside it to highlight the workings but have no idea how to do it!
