i'm only questionings this as some of the pics i see on the net seem to have a short 'bolt' and some seem to have longer ones - maybe some are screwed out as they would be if locked and some are not!! anyway i appriciate the help.

I just ask her to change to historic , give her the log books and she does it all there and then on the computer....i don't like standing in a queue either, i suffer from queue rage 😀. I know a couple of people who sent their docs of to DVLA about 10 days ago for change to historic and DVLA sent the docs back with the amount to be paid to tax the bikes. Even though they are eligible for historic and FOC tax from April 1st, DVLA wouldn't do them as it was pre April 1st....bloody jobsworths.

interestingly this was something they told me may happen and then gave me a different sa99 post code to send it to saying if i sent the v5c (with historic written in) the v10 showing 1st april start date (and i sent the v112 even though i didnt need to) and this section in dvla would "sort it all out for you". i may have been a bit naive but only time will tell!!
Nurse Julie:
Fingers crossed 👍👍👍
