Happy New Year - Off to the Ace

Well, it's 0830 and I'm due outside Bulldog Triumph at 0930 to meet other hardy souls who agreed to come on the Ace Cafe "Hangover Meet" this morning.
They'll be open at 0900!
Mild (ie >5 degrees) at the moment, no frost, dry roads.
Empty roads!

Hope you had a good trip Steve.
It's dry here with a hint of of blue sky and no wind but it's still -1C and I don't know if I'm that hardy!
Tomorrow maybe...

It was packed!
There were about 50 bikes plus the obligatory custom cars (nice '50s Thunderbird (Ford not Triumph...))
Only bit that got cold was my toes.

I succumbed in the end and went out.
It wasn't too bad and it the fingers on my right hand and my chin that got cold.
Rest of me was pleasantly warm.

Well due to what can only be described as terrific hangover didn't get out today, although i don't think the temp has got above freezing all day. Managed to get up the Ponderosa (horseshoe pass) boxing day bt besides that roads remain abit dicey so other than riding to work not been out.

Forecast to get up to 3 degrees today so I might venture out again.
Be a shame not too as I filled up in Southport yesterday. 85 pence a litre!
