Re. LED bulbs, if you trawl through Fleabay there is someone who sells coloured instrument LED's including green which could possibly be a suitable solution. Likewise if you want LED's in your rear light, make sure you use RED bulbs only, the light particles from a LED mean that if you use white bulbs in a red lens the result will be a pink light.

I bought a couple of sets of these and used a light yellow nail varnish to diffuse then worked a treat.
