petrol tank paint designs

hi

just got off e bay a supersport tank, this is for me to practise paint etc on,

frame is silver, mudguards rechromed, any ideas on colours ? designs?

also is there mush difference in bikes these fit ,

If its 550 should fit all 500/550 BUT you may need the same year seat as tank as the lenths varied

The 500/4 in my avatar had a 550K3 seat and tank. They fitted as a pair but I had to "adjust" the seat hinge...
