How to remove tire info decal?

I read that original tidy bikes are gathering popularity these days ... they are only original once as they say, so if your mudguard is not bad maybe it would be fitting to use as is.... Although I fully believe in doing whatever you like to your own machine whether it be full £15k restoration or rat bike, each to his own.... But a nice tidy original bike that can be ridden is my idea of perfection 😀 here’s mine...

Thanks Rob, your bike looks great; we think alike. I have always preferred original unrestored (accepting it's not always possible with the paintset) over restored to original specification, so have decided to keep the mudguard as is. My 11/70 K1 has a number of little evidences of its almost 50 year life which is endearing. That's not to say I don't appreciate nicely restored bikes to original spec, particularly where they would otherwise been scrapped - James' sandcast #4645 project is a prime example of saving/preserving what you can is what I admire and strive for.
I will still contact Piki to ask if he can reproduce my original decal in the bronze colour to keep as a spare, as so many reproduction tire info decals I see on eBay are black, or maybe the originals have faded over time in the sun?
Cheers,
Andrew
