Youre not going to want to hear this but the only safe way to do the job is take the engine out and split the crankcases

WHY OH WHY did i decide to go classic i should have stuck to the mordern jap stuff
i did try and get a pic of it but i just couldnt get a good focus on it with my camera the bolt that goes in this whole must go from a thicker thread down to a smaller thread because it looks like is has broke where it changes from the thicker to the smaller thread im just not sure what the bolt looks like when its out but is does look different from a normal straight one , if i do need to strip engine is it within my capabilites is it worth it as the engine is running sweet should i just wait until chain goes then do a full rebuild...............what a bloody nightmare

Ride it till the camchain rattles but fix it as soon as it rattles or you can do expensive damage
