Hi Bob,

From your numbers you have a K2 frame and a K7 engine.
Ref: Hayes Great Bikes Honda CB750 Mike Duckworth

Bryanj:
The US ID book tells the same story so you do have a bit of a Frankenbike. The numberis low enough to be a 72/73 so the reg loks Ok and an engine change is also not uncommon with the age just means that it can never be classed as an "original" so the Purists get upset. I would rebuild to a decent running bike using whatever parts you feel like in whatever style and use and enjoy it

bobthebuilder:
Thanks Guys glad you are all there, really wanted an original, so to put it back where would I get a k2 engine? whats the average price?  and would it be a big job!!!! and any one want to buy a good" k7 engine" ???

Bob

Bryanj:
A K2 engine may be available at a breakers, Or see if mr Silver has a set of NOS crankcases with no number and build yours into them
