Hi to the group. Looking forward to learning a lot about my CB550. Had the bike a while but just prepping it for the road and keen to use it a lot more. Purchased the K3 about 8 years ago and not done many miles.....yet..!! Already had some help wit( my first question so thanks for that.
I have 2 other bikes, a 1992 CBR1000 which I bought new and is still my regular ride....I say regular, I don’t put many miles on at the moment but hoping to do more. The other bike is a Triumph 500 twin....the baby Bonneville. That’s stored atm but again want to aim to get that running by next spring.
I have had bikes all my adult like after being influenced by my older brother who had a succession of old British bikes that spent more time being fixed than ridden....
Didn’t put me off and my first job was as an apprentice bike mechanic with a dealership in South London....Elite Motors....anyone remember them...??
Anyway enough of me rambling on.....
