Can I use this Gasket?

So I contacted DS and they have no alternative to the pattern part they sent me. They are aware of the issue with the Vesrah gaskets and have raised the issue with the manufacturer, but until this is resolved, there is no alternative.
I agreed to try another one, but then on reflection decided I didn’t want an engine leaking oil, or worse, so I sourced another online.

This one is made by Athena, which is an Italian outfit that seems to be of produce a reasonable-quality product from what I can find. Thing is, it’s nearly twice the price.
Time will tell if it is worth it.

I only got the head gasket, but happy to hear that the kits are good.

I eventually got a response from DS who have offered me a genuine Honda gasket for my 550 for £20, could they not do the same for you?

Athena gaskets are OEM fitment for a large number of Italian bikes. I always fit them where I can and never had a problem.
