Hondabond for oil pump/crankcase joint?

When reinstalling the oil pump, is it necessary or advisable to use Hondabons or other sealant on the mating surfaces?
I haven’t seen anything to the contrary so I’m assuming that the torque on the bolts is the standard ones for M6 and M8 bolts.

If it has a new o'ring that will seal

Thanks Trigger.
It does indeed have a new o-ring, so I’ll just tighten it up.
