I know it's been covered several times before but what's your views on this
method of curing - I'm using the forum recommended Simoniz Silver which requires upto 220 degree curing.
Don't want the fumes in kitchen and upper crankcase won't fit in oven anyway. Pinched an idea off tinternet and built a 1/4 ply box lined with tinfoil, fitted with cheap oven thermostat and powered by an electric heat gun. Just done quick test and temp gets upto about 160 degrees within 10 minutes and maintains that temp.
Do you think this is sufficient to cure the paint. I intend to heat painted parts initially in kitchen oven to get some heat in the parts. See pics for basic idea of technique.
