I'll probably make a bracket if mine does it but I'm thinking of using the main stand clamp bolts instead of the exhaust.

It's quite a way out. Just made one tonight out of stainless - you need to put a 90 degree 2mm lip (along the front to back length off the plate) to strengthen the bracket (20mm x 60mm ish plate really) - to stop it flexing when the stand hits the rubber
