CB500/4 UGP96M still exist?

I thought last time I looked on the gov site for my old bike UGP96M it mentioned the last reg date around 1993. I just looked again and there is mention of a V5C issued 14 July 2005. Is this just an anomaly of the system or is it possible part or all of it still exists?
Many thanks for any advice.

It means somebody has a v5c with that number, dont mean they have the bits
