A strange question but is the rear brake rod supposed to be straight ?

Thanks Bryan for some reason I thought heat might minimise any stress in the metal - if it bends easily as Julie says I will do it cold.

Yes, it bends easily when it's not meant to but I wouldn't know if you bend it back hot or cold 🤔🤔🤔Don't snap it 😭😭😭😭
