Hi, Ash.

Yes please on the flap. It’s my intention to take the bike to the next level of prep, without making it a show pony (nothing against show ponies btw).

May take you up on the jointing tool. I’m undecided as to a complete engine strip, but I’ll probably do it simply because i can. I’m expecting the primary chain to be earring at end of life an potentially threatening the oil gallery. First thing will be sump of for a quick check…just for peace of mind as I’m sure it will have been checked.

Hi, Ash……deal done. Jim is a lovely bloke and great to deal with.

The bike was nicely presented and fired up right away. I think I’m going to be really pleased and it’s definitely a keeper for me. Can’t wait to do some fiddling, hopefully without damaging any of Jim’s good work. Its easy to see he cares about his work and the bike is a credit to him.

My sincere thanks for making this available through the forum.

Kindest regards

Phil.
