Nope, that looks like faux pine flooring..........get it wet and it humps like a b*tch ;D

Not seen overheated exhausts on a CB750 before, but I am not an expert. According to my Haynes CB750 book the alternator cover is a later type ( early model had shaded/grey Honda back ground with no recesses for mounting screw heads)
