air filter

hi. need to put my air box back in. Struggling to find an appropriate paper filter. online it's a circular filter, bought one a while ago, hfa 1601. this does not fit. the hinda part number concludes none available. Any ideas for an alternative

Is yours the sort of oval shape?

If so have a look at KNHA-0750.

Gather it's a CB650Z? around 1979?

Way back in 1978 my newish 550-4 needed an air filter but couldn’t get one so I made one by sandwiching filter paper from a roll used for filtering suds on a grinding machine between steel mesh held together by araldite,it worked well until I flogged the bike 18 months later

I’m going to make one using cooker hood filter paper,I’ll report back😁 mine might have a decent filter in I haven’t checked yet.
