That is extreme, I painted my K1 white but only the tank and side panels.

After much studying and pondering I must say too much white for me. A little less and I could live with it. Nice bike though!

Well you would need something to burn in the cold winters strippingand prepping all the bits to be 'de-whited' on that .


The chaps had a field day with that and not sure if he has is sums right unless he got the bike and all the bits for free, thats quite a replacement list he's posted. Too much, the bike looks ok and I dont mind white but that is FAR too much white for me. If it had less and more chrome polished, subtle bits I'd have a go at that.

To spend a pile of money to achieve what is an individual and personal taste just to sell on does not make sense to me. To take this back to original would cost a lot of money. These powder coated parts would have to be acid stripped and re plated. Unless somebody was just happy with it as is. I would definitely have a few of the smaller parts replaced or plated. I don’t dislike it! It’s just a bit much for me. Hell my 550 was white for nearly 30 years.
