My general experience with Chinese parts and tools is not good.

The exception is well known brands with a good reputation.

But as they say you pays your money and takes your choice......

beardylondon:
Thanks all, probably go for the previously mentioned ones, which don’t come with plugs, but are already being used by Ted

beardylondon:
I emailed this seller to ask what the primary resistance of these is, knowing I won't buy, but I was interested, and this is their response:

"primary resistance is ?
we can resistance
thank you"

McCabe-Thiele (Ted):
Just found this information that I posted here a while back. I think I spelt Hendler wrong.

"I fitted these (Hedler) as they are probably a temporary measure until I restore my originals.
They are Primary  5.11 Ohms - S 17.55 Ohms  made by Hedler the spec is on Hedlers website p/n 540612H
I did not use the screws shown in the picture mounted them in the original saddle at each end.
I switched the wiring so the poitive marked terminal was on the ignition feed side."https://www.hendler.co.uk/category/ignition-coils

Although this is the trade site you can still search the part number & find the coil specifications.

.

beardylondon:
funnily enough I was looking at Hendler's website this morning and found them on ebay for £24.49, same part number
