Local canal is having the lower lock gates replaced at the cost of £218,000 for the lower pair only - due to safety fencing this is the best photo I could get.

Quite possibly I do not know  - they look heavy at 3110 Kg.

Just ordered my plastic Oak lookalike door.!! That was pricey enough  but the cost of those babies make me feel better....

I do just love oak as a material and wish I could afford the real thing. :'(
One day I'll have the time to restore it, not just talk and dream....
