400 carb slider adjustment question need to check ?

I clearly have the memory of a Goldfish when it comes to putting my carbs back in place on the manifold/frame.
Is it correct to set the height of the sliders using the screws in the picture below to adjust them as needed - last time I used a small drill bit shaft iirc.

Yes, those are the screws to set the slider heights.

Thanks I just can't remember using them when I first rebuilt the carbs on my 400 before Covid - in my head I thought I used the screws between the carb links.
One of the float pillar tips was in poor condition so this spare set will eventually replace them. Keeping busy tinkering before I resume work on the 500 forks.
